George: Oh! driver, what’s the fare please?

Taxi driver: Only 15 rupees, sir.

George: Here’s three five-rupee notes.

Taxi driver: Thank you, sir.

Porter: Have you any luggage, sir?

George: Yes, please. These two bags only.

Porter: Which flight have you to catch, sir?

George: I have to catch the flight for Bombay.

Porter: This way, sir. Please pay the porterage at this counter.

Counter clerk: How many bags, sir?

George: Two bags, please.

Counter clerk: Here are your tickets, sir.

George: Have they announced the flight to Bombay?

Porter: Yes, sir. Please come and stand in this queue.

Voice on the P.A system: Your attention please. Calling all passengers travelling by Mahindra Airlines Flight No. 503 to Bombay. Passengers are requested to check in their baggage at the ticket counter. Thank you.

Officer at the Ticket Counter: May I see your ticket, please?

George: Here it is.

Officer at the Ticket Counter: Thank you, sir. Please place your luggage on the weighing machine.

George: Is it overweight?

Officer at the Ticket Counter: No, please. It is well underweight.

George: Oh! good.

Officer at the Ticket Counter: Here is your baggage ticket.

George: Thank you, please.

Officer at the Ticket Counter: Do you have any hand baggage?

George: I have this one piece.

Officer at the Ticket Counter: Here is your baggage tag for your hand baggage. Here is your ticket and your boarding card.

George: Thank you. (He aims in the waiting lounge)

The voice on the P.A. system: All passengers travelling to Bombay by Mahindra Airlines Flight No. 503 are requested to kindly proceed for their security check. Thank you.

Security Officer: Are you carrying any firearms or a pointed instrument?

George: No, please.

Security Officer: Please come here. Let me search your body. (He feels George’s body all over in a routine check-up.) Do you have any handbag?

George: Yes, please. This is my handbag.

Security Officer: Let me open it. (He searches the handbag carefully) It’s all right.

George: Thank you, please.

Security Officer: Please show me your boarding card and let me stamp it for the security check.

George: Here it is, please.

Security Officer: (Stamps the boarding card) Please have it back.” Thank you. Mr. George passes through the security check enclosure and waits in the next lounge.

Voice on the P.A. system: Mahindra Airline Flight No. 503 to Bombay is now, ready for departure. Passengers are requested to proceed to the aircraft. Please keep your boarding cards ready.

A Group Hostess: Good morning, sir. May I see your boarding card, please?

George: Here it is, please.

Group Hostess: Thank you. Please get into this bus.

(The bus takes the passengers to the aeroplane of Mahindra Airlines which is ready to fly).
