The Crow and The Fox
Once a crow stole a piece of cheese from a shop and flew to a tree in a garden. He had just started enjoying the cheese when a fox who was hungry came there. He saw the cheese in the beak of the crow. His mouth watered to eat it. The crow was at ease with his own world.
The fox thought of a plan to get the cheese. He began to praise the crow by saying, “You have a sweet voice. Will, you do not sing a song for me?” The crow fell into the trap of the fox. He opened his beak to sing. The cheese fell down on the ground. The fox picked up the piece and ran away. The crow felt very sad on account of losing the piece of cheese.
Moral: Beware of Flatterers.
