You and your friends wish to request your school Principal to allow you to celebrate Children’s Day by organising a Mela for the children living in a slum near you school.

1. What activities can be organized to make the Mela a success?
2. How you can involve the slum children in putting up a show?

Candidate A: Raman, Children’s Day is coming in the next month.

Candidate B: Yes Rohan, it is a very special day for us. We must celebrate it differently this year.

Candidate A: What is your idea tell me.

Candidate B: Friend, I think we must try to make it a special day for the slum children’s.

Candidate A: Wow ! That is a great idea. But, what can we do for them?

Candidate B: We can organize a mala for the children living in slum.

Candidate A: Yes, it is really a wonderful idea. We must plan some activities for the mela.

Candidate B: We can organize different competitions of songs, poems and sports for them.

Candidate A: We can also arrange some movies, educational plays and skits.

Candidate B: Prizes and gifts for them will be given to all the participants from the contributions made by our class mates.

Candidate A: All this is ok. But first of all we shall have to permission from the Principal sir.

Candidate B: Yes, we shall request him and present before him our detailed plan form the mela.

Candidate A: He will definitely allow us.

Candidate B: Yes.
