Recycling to Save Energy
Materials Required:
- Various materials from around the house
- Pencil and paper
Whenever products are made, energy is consumed. Therefore, if a product can be used many times over, then we can save energy to a great level. You can re-use plastic products conveniently.
For instance, plastic soda bottles can be turned into bird feeders, to store drinking water, as a terrarium for experiments and also as penny banks to store money in.
Make a list of the other ways that you can use your plastic soda bottles.
You can even use paper grocery bags more than once very easily. You can stack them up and use them when you go out shopping to pack orders, as covers for textbooks, to carry gifts, to wrap mailing packages and also spread them out to protect a work area.
Plastic margarine tubs can be used to store screws and small items, to store leftover food as dog water dishes and also as beach toys for kids.
We can also use plastic grocery bags for more than once, either as small bedroom wastebaskets, or to pack wet bathing suits or even soggy lunch items.
Keep thinking and you can be sure there are thousands of ways you can use your articles.
