A Street Quarrel

1. Street quarrels are often seen in cities.
2. Only yesterday I saw an ugly quarrel in a street.
3. There were two groups of boys engaged in a heated argument. Soon it turned into blows.
4. The quarrel went on for 8 to 10 minutes. They were separated by good neighbours who had come out of their houses hearing the noise of the quarrel.
5. Both groups had got hurt. One boy’s shirt had been torn.
6. The neighbours pacified both the groups.
7. They were made to shake hands. Thus, the quarrel ended.
8. It started getting dark. They went to their homes. Thank God that no one was seriously injured.
9. Otherwise, the quarrel would have been worse.
10. Thanks to the timely intervention of neighbours.
