Sir,
I was travelling by the above mentioned train on 10th April. I had boarded it from Ferozepur Cantt. in the first class A.C. compartment. I had with me a VIP suitcase of brown colour and had attached it to my birth with a chain, using a Harrison lock. In addition to the suitcase, I also had a travelling bag, that I had kept on the seat with me. Since the journey was long, I couldn’t overcome my sleep during the way.
I woke up about ten minutes before the train was about to reach the Old Delhi Railway Station. When I tried to gather my luggage, I had the biggest shock of my life. The travelling bag was there, but the suitcase was missing ! Someone had very cleverly cut off the chain and removed my precious belonging. I inquired from the altendant on duty, but he said that he knew nothing about the theft, or the thief.
May I, therefore, request you to forward my complaint to the concerned authorities and inform me, as soon as my luggage is recovered ? It contains my passport and other important documents, in addition to some personal and domestic items and hence the urgency for your prompt action and co-operation.
