Science Project on “Changing Colours”, Project Experiment Topics on Light, Sound, Maths, Optical Illusion for Class 8, 9, 10 and 12 Students.

Changing Colours

 Materials Required:

  1. Crayons
  2. Five paper plates
  3. Five sticks
  4. A cloudless dark evening
  5. Adhesive tape

It becomes hard to see, as the sun goes down. We will find out if it becomes more difficult to spot colours, as the sun goes down.

Draw two crossed lines on a paper plate, thereby dividing the plate into 4 equal parts.

With a red crayon, colour two opposite sections, leaving the other two portions white.

On the other plates, do the same things with different colours though.

Attach the sticks to the plates, so that they can serve as handles.

As the sun sets, find a place with adequate light and get your friend to hold up the plates with the help of the handles.

Then let your friends take ten steps back. Get your friend to mix up the plates, so that they are not in order.

Keep asking your friend to go back. As you keep doing this for an hour, you will get to find out which colours are the most difficult to see.
