Time: Three Hours                                                             Maximum Marks: 80

Note: Attempt Five questions in all, selecting one question from each Unit.

1  No. 1 is compulsory. All questions carry equal marks.

प्रत्येक इकाई से एक प्रश्न चुनते हुए, कुल पाँच प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए।  प्रश्न संख्या 1 अनिवार्य है। सभी प्रश्नों के अंक समान हैं।

Compulsory Question (अनिवार्य प्रश्न)

1 Write short notes on the following:

(a) Status of Education of SC and ST

(b) Salient features of Adam’s Report

(c) Main features of Revised National Policy, 1992

(d) Concept of Emotional Integration.                                4 * 4=16

निम्नलिखित पर संक्षिप्त टिप्पणियाँ लिखिए :

(अ) SC तथा ST के शिक्षा के स्तर

(ब) एडम की रिपोर्ट की प्रमुख विशेषतायें

(स) संशोधित राष्ट्रीय नीति, 1992 की प्रमुख विशेषतायें

(द) भावनात्मक एकीकरण की आवधारणा।

Unit I (इकाई I)

2 Define the term ‘Equality of Educational Opportunities’, Why is it needed ? Discuss the different Articles of Indian constitution showing equality of opportunities in Education. 2,4,10

शैक्षिक अवसरवादिताओं की समानता को परिभाषित कीजिए। इसकी आवश्यकता क्यों होती है ? शिक्षा में अवसरों की समानता दर्शाते हए भारतीय संविधान के विभिन्न अनुच्छेदों का वर्णन कीजिए।

3 Discuss the various diversities in the Indian Society. Also discuss the educational implications in context of these social diversities. 8,8

भारतीय समाज में विभिन्न भिन्नताओं का वर्णन कीजिए। इन सामाजिक भिन्नताओं के संदर्भ में शैक्षिक मान्यताओं का भी वर्णन कीजिए।

4 Explain the features and recommendations of Maculay’s Thinutes.             16

मैकाले के घोषणापत्र की विशेषताओं और सिफारिशों की व्याख्या कीजिए।

5 Discuss the Basic Scheme of Education, 1937 in detail. 16

शिक्षा की बुनियादी योजना, 1937 का विस्तृत वर्णन कीजिए।

Unit III (इकाई III)

6 Discuss the objectives and recommendations of Secondary Education Commission 1952-53.                                                                                                                                          

माध्यमिक शिक्षा आयोग 1952-53 के उद्देश्यों और सिफारिशों का वर्णन कीजिए।

7 Explain the objectives and recommendations of National Policy of Education (1986) in detail. 16

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (1986) के उद्देश्यों तथा सिफारिशों का विस्तृत वर्णन कीजिए।

Unit IV (इकाई IV)

8 Discuss the meaning, need and implications of vocational of secondary education. 16

माध्यमिक शिक्षा के व्यावसायीकरण का अर्थ, आवश्यकता और निहितार्थों का वर्णन कीजिए।

9 Write short notes on the following:

(a) Role of Education in Developing International Understanding                                        8

(b) Merits and demerits of Modernization.                                                                                   8
