Football

Football is a very popular game dating back to the 13th and 14th century when it was played in England. Lack of formal rules made it a dangerous game in those days. Today Football is game played in an open field between two teams. Sizes and shapes of the fields vary in different countries. In the United States the field is 100 yards long and has lines drawn across it after every 5 yards, in Australia is shaped like an Oval while it is rectangular elsewhere. In some forms of football the players are allowed to carry the ball in their hands and score a goal. Soccer is the most popular form of football, it has two teams of 11 players each who move the ball using only their head and feet. The team which shoots the ball through The opponents  goal post is awarded a point an team which scores the maximum points is declared the winner.
