Sub. : Letter for publication in the ‘Letters to the Editor’ column.
Sir,
I want to draw, through your esteemed Paper, the attention of the concerned authorities towards the deplorable condition of the road leading to our locality. Please be kind enough to publish the given material in your ‘Letter to the Editor’ column. “The lane leading to Sarita Vihar, Pocket-D, from the main Mathura Road has not been repaired for a long time. The one kilometre patch is full of pits and potholes and is not fit for movement even of light vehicles. This is the only lifeline for the residents, numbering more than fifty thousand and its deplorable condition has made their lives really miserable. Vehicles are forced to move on at a snail’s pace, leading to frequent jams. The condition becomes worst during the rainy season.
The electricity lights are also out of order and it is always pitch dark in the evenings and at nights. Pedestrians face a lot of trouble during the late hours. Frequent requests to the local authorities for remedial action and relief have been in vain and they seem to have turned a deaf ear to them.
Would the concerned authorities initiate immediate efforts to give the residents some relief ?”
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Avdhesh Behari
