We, the students of the college, request that August 3,…. Should be declared a holiday, so that we can go and see the Test Match, India versus Australia, at the Brabourne Stadium.
Even if the college is not closed, most of the students are likely to play truant and keep away from the classes, thereby defeating the very purpose of opening the institution on August 3rd.
However, we agree that this special holiday may be adjusted against some other gazette holiday on which the college may be kept open.
We earnestly solicit that you should not please turn down this unanimous request from the students.
