10 Lines – A Visit to A Circus

1. During the days of Dussera holidays I visited Appollo Circus at the ‘Grounds of the Red Fort’.
2. There was a great rush inside the huge enclosure of tents. It was well-lit by numerous lights.
3. There were clowns who looked quite funny in their multi-coloured dresses and painted faces.
4. They cut silly jokes and performed clever tricks. Their actions amused the audience.
5. Girls on bicycles came out in the big circle followed by dogs on bicycles.
6. They presented a good show. Next came elephants who played cricket.
7. At every shot the spectators clapped. This show was followed by lions and their master.
8. The lions were made to jump through a ring with flames. Afterward, the lions bowed their heads to salute the audience.
9. There were many amusing items. But the best one was of the lions passing through the ring with flames.
10. It was a dangerous act. The show continued for 3 hours. Everyone enjoyed the show. I too liked it.
