My dear Kailash,
I hope your invitation to me to visit you still stands, for that I propose to come over there during Diwali. I shall be finally able to get away for about a fortnight and you don’t know how much I am looking forward to visiting you and my other good old friends.
I think this is going to be my first visit to you after your marriage. Your wife Poonam is quite known to me as we were together during the school days. I wonder if she still abhors me as she used to then.

Let me tell you that your kindness in promising us a visit has charmed us both. I anticipate the pleasure of those days not very far distant, and feel a part of it at this moment.
You are coming at the right time since that is the best season in Delhi. The calmness of the atmosphere makes it a much more agreeable climate than we ever find it in other seasons.
