Thanks for the invitation to your sister’s marriage Indeed, it is a solemn and an auspicious occasion on which, I think, it is my sacred duty to be present as your sister is just like my own sister.

 I’m, however, sorry to mention that on the very day of your sister’s marriage, I have to appear for an important interview with a multinational company at Bangalore which cannot be missed. The company has already declared that the interview cannot be postponed for any reason.

I hope you will excuse me from being absent at you sister’s marriage. All the same my heartiest congratulations which should be conveyed to your revered parents also. Blessings to Preeti.
