The modern human being has the numerous ways of entertainment and recreation. The television is the prime way to get oneself entertained. The life would be dull in the absence of television as every house has television for the entertainment purpose. It has become an integral part of individuals’ life. The various purposes that are serves make it mandatory for everyday life. I would like flash a bright light on the benefits that it offers in the following paragraphs.

The television is the prime source of illuminating the minds of common people with the medium of news. It covers the news from the every nook and corner of the world. The live telecast of incidents makes it more popular as people feel like the actual witnesses of the incident. The audio visual characteristic of television helps it winning the heart of layman. The ignorant people who have not the thorough knowledge about world can get awakening with the medium of Television.

Moving further towards the companionship of Television it is nothing less than a friend. It helps in removing the web of isolation when a person is free and idle at home. The moving pictures and talking personalities tend to engage the onlooker and provide a very good company.
