Five Persons I Like Most

I am a great lover of mankind. As such, I like all kinds of people, irrespective of their colour, creed race, religion, sex, region, etc. Still, I cannot deny that I like the people who are close to me more than others. Even among these, I like five the most.

First I like my mother. She is the symbol of life and sacrifice for me. She is ready to die for me and I’m ready to die for her. She is, indeed, my greatest well-wisher in the world and [need not elaborate on this topic.

Secondly, I like my father most. He does whatever he can for me. He goes to work early in the morning and returns home late at night. Indeed, it will be a privilege to serve him in his old age in the same way as it will be a privilege for me to serve my mother in her old age.

Thirdly, I like my housemaid. Of couse, she works in order to earn her livelihood. That might be construed as a selfish motive. But hard work she puts in to keep our house neat and clean and in proper order, cannot indeed, be paid back in money. She is in reality playing a role in my life which is generally not recognized on the surface but is unforgettable if one has eyes to see and observe. I’ll ever be full of gratitude to her.

Fourthly, I like my class teacher, Miss Sulekha. She is in fact, the maker of my life. But for her, I would have been a dull uncivilized little brat. I can by no means pay the debt I owe to her.

Fifthly, I like my best friend, Sandeep. He is my alter ego. He is the only person in the world to whom I can confide my secrets. He stands by me through thick and thin and I get from him all the necessary advice and guidance at every steps in my life,
