A Road Accident
In a head-on collision between a Maruti car and a truck where a young man, Ratnakar (30) lost his life and two occupants of the car were injured seriously yesterday on M.G. Road, Meerut. The car driver was driving at a very high speed, and lost his balance at a sharp turning and ran into the truck. He was taken to Badshah Khan Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The police have registered a case of negligent driving against the truck driver. A mob gathered at the accident site and chaos was created. The police restored law and order by intervening timely.
