10 Lines on “Cry Wolf” Story

1. Once upon a time there lived a little boy who was very fond of telling lies.

2. His parents had warned him again and again that one day he would be in great trouble, because of this habit, but he was just not bothered.

3. One morning his father asked him to take the sheep for grazing.

4. He happily set off with the flock to a nearby hillside, where the grass was green. While the sheep were grazing the boy decided to fool the villagers.

5. He began shouting “Wolf! Wolf! Help please!” On hearing the shouts the villagers ran to his rescue.

6. When they reached there they saw the boy sitting under a tree and laughing at them.

7. They got really angry when they found out that it was all a silly joke. The next day the boy retook the flock.

8. This time a wolf really came, and despite the boy’s yelling for help, no one came to his rescue.

9. The wolf, in the meantime, not only carried off several sheep but chased the boy as well.

10. When the boy reached home, he did not get a word of sympathy from the villagers. He had learnt his lesson at last!
