1. Kovalam is a beautiful beach near Thiruvananthapuram. I spent a week there with my parents and sister.

2. The sand on the beach was golden in colour. There were many coconut palms under which were some beach cafes.

3. A few chairs and tables were placed in the shade of the trees.

4. We went into the waters for a swim. Two lifeguards kept a watch on us ensuring that we do not go too far from the beach.

5. There were many swimmers there. The beach was crowded.

6. We played a ball game with the other children on the beach. It was an exciting time for us.

7. We collected plenty of shells, of all sizes and shapes. A big, pink shell was especially beautiful.
