Dear Sir,
Subject: Menace of a stray dog
On behalf of the residents of our colony, I wish to make a complaint about a stray dog which has become a real menace since last week. It empties the contents of dustbins onto the roads, barks all night and spreads terror among the children by chasing them. It has also bitten an old man, who, as a result, is very very ill. I would be grateful if it could be taken to a stray dogs’ home before it wreaks more havoc in our colony.
