Sir,

I want to draw the attention of the authorities towards a problem faced by the regular passengers on route No. 724 especially on peak hours.

There is a heavy rush of passengers in the route from Uttam Nagar to Nehru Place and back. Although a good number of buses is available on the route but it does not suffice especially in the mornings and evenings when people in thousands have to reach for their work and back. The buses get jam packed only at the starting points and there is a mad rush always for getting a seat. Lots of people in the way get late for work. The ladies have to bear the brunt especially. Not to talk of getting a seat, they do not get a space to stand comfortably. So there is an urgent need to increase the number of buses on route No. 724 immediately. The request was many a time made to the Depot authorities but in vain. It is earnestly hoped that our genuine demand be looked into with the help of the columns of this esteemed paper.
