Conversation on the Topic “At The Green Grocer’s” for Class 9, 10, 11 and 12 Students.

Customer: Have you fresh vegetables?

Green Grocer: Sir, all my vegetables are fresh from the fields.

Customer: What is the price of onions?

Green Grocer: Sir, one rupee per kilogram.

Customer: What is the rate of cauliflower?

Green Grocer: Two rupees per kilogram.

Customer: Give me one kilogram each of onions and cauliflower.

Green Grocer: Anything else, sir?

Customer: Give me one kilogram of peas half a kilogram of lady’s finger, and one kilogram of cabbage.

Green Grocer: Sir, take brinjals and carrots. These are also very good.

Customer: No. I don’t need them. Have you got potatoes and tomatoes?

Green Grocer: Yes, sir.

Customer: All right. Give half a kilogram of tomatoes and one kilogram of potatoes.

Green Grocer: Sir, take some fresh mint also.

Customer: O.K. Put some mint also. Now what is the bill?

Green Grocer: Only fifteen rupees, Sir.

Customer: Take these fifteen rupees.

Green Grocer: Thank you, sir. Come again.
