10 Lines – A Visit to A Trade Fair

1. Last month I went to the India International Trade Fair held at Pragati Maidan. People from all over India came to visit it. Many states and countries took part in it. At 3 p.m.
2. I reached the fair with my friend Ravi. We bought tickets and entered the gate.
3. After walking straight, we saw many halls of different states and nations. Each hall looked attractive. There were different goods well displayed in each hall.
4. There we saw handicrafts, machines and tools, toys, electronic goods, paintings, and idols of gods and goddesses on wood, metals, and stones.
5. There were handloom clothes, decorated sarees, silk cloth, and scores of other items. People were seen buying them.
6. There were mostly sales girls who were planning the quality and function of some of the machines along with their uses.
7. Many of them were the latest in their series. These machines could do the job of many men in a short time.
8. Indian scientists too had produced such machines. We felt proud of our engineers and scientists. We saw different kinds of cell phones, phones, computers, and scores of electronic gadgets.
9. We enjoyed watching them. We took tea and biscuits at food stalls. We felt refreshed.
10. There were crowds of people at the fair. At 7’o clock we came out of the fair and went back to our homes tired but wonder-struck.
