1. Rains in summer days bring comfort and relief from the scorching heat. Rains are welcome by all.
2. Last week suddenly strong winds started blowing and the sky was overcast with clouds.
3. Soon it began to rain. It rained heavily for 3 hours. The roads in Delhi were flooded with water.
4. There were traffic jams. Many vehicles got choked. People at bus stops remained stranded for most of the time.
5. In the streets children came out to have a bath. They were overjoyed. After the rain, children were seen floating paper boats.
6. They shouted with joy. They were enjoying the fun and splashed water on one another. There was water everywhere.
7. It became cool and pleasant. Drains, tanks, and ponds were filled with water.
8. People opened windows of their houses to feel the cool breeze after the rain.
9. Trees and plants looked fresh and green. Frogs croaked in ponds. The rain had brought a welcome relief to everyone.
10. Coolers and ACs were switched off for the time being. It gave relief to the electricity Department as less power was required.
