CBSE ASL Answer for Class 10, “Classmate has been Missing the House Meetings”

You have noticed that your classmate has been missing the house meetings and has been spending time in library instead.

1. Why your friend is doing this?
2. How you would encourage your friend to attend the meeting?

Candidate A:  Hello! Rohan,  did you attend the house meeting yesterday?

Candidate B: Yes, Mohan, I was there. It was wonderful.

Candidate A:  Yes, attending a house meeting is always a good experience. But…..

Candidate B: But….? What do you want to say?

Candidate A:  I have noticed Rohan has been missing it for many weeks.

Candidate B: We must talk to time about this.

Candidate A:  Yes, you are right. I have noticed that he spends his time in the library.

Candidate B: We must try to find out the reason. Why he spends time in library in place of house meet?

Candidate A:  Yes, we shall talk to him and tell him how important it is to attend the house meeting.

Candidate B: You are right. He is missing the joy of contributing positively in collective activities and the fun and chance to mingle with other students.

Candidate A:  I think, we should tell him that he can attend library in free period but the purpose of house meeting is interaction, learn, togetherness and a sense of belonging to a house.

Candidate B: Certainly, we are going to talk with  him in the evening

Candidate A:  Ok! At 6:00 p.m at his house.
