Today the JAC organized meet the press programme in Press Club sector-27, Chandigarh. On this occasion entire executive of JAC was present the members of the committee highlighted various demands of teaching community which includes:-
- Regularization S.S.A., Computer Teachers, Contract, and Guest Faculty Teachers.
- Promotion of all cadres of teachers on yearly basis.
- Merger of Computer Teachers into main Education Department.
- The deputation for the promotional post ( Principals and Headmasters) should be stopped.
- Release of up to date seniority list of all cadres teaches and it should be online as per Punjab pattern.
- Filling up of Administrative Posts in DPI(s) office approved by MHRD.
- Implementation of all ready decided court cases and immediate setting up of Educational Tribunal.
- Equal pay for equal work for vocational lecturers and volunteer teachers.
- No official work should be assigned to the teaches other than teaching.
- Subject Experts sitting in DEO office and DPI office should be shifted to the schools/ SCERT.
- Creation of post of Vice principals and vice heads with all benefits and powers to avoid stagnation.
- The time bound clearance of tall cases of the teachers including ACP’s, probation, conformation, medical leave, ccl etc.
- House building society “No profit no loss basis” for all teachers.
- Provisions of dispensaries with well equipped labs and doctors at cluster level during school hours.
- Construction of Shiksha Bhawan and Holiday Home for Teachers.
The annual calander of JAC for the year 2015 was released by Sh. Raghubir Singh Sandhu, Pattern, U.T. S.S. Federation. The leaders are Sh. Ranjit Singh Hans, Rajinder Kumar, Harbir Singh Anand, Sh. Bhag Singh Kairon, Sh. Khushali Ram Sharma, Savinder Singh, Ranbir Singh Rana, Shamsher Singh, Japinder Kaur, Ravinder Sharma, Jit Singh Somal, Madhu Rama, Kuldeep Jhangra, Poonam Taprial.
