My dear mother,
I feel so happy to think that in another week or so, I shall be with you again on a holiday. Our preparation leave starts on the 5th of March. I shall leave this place only on the 3rd of March and shall be happy if either you or Papa meets me at the station.
I may have one or two friends with me. In my last letter, I wrote to you about Aakash and Sohail. Unfortunately, Aakash lost his brother in the month of December. He loved his brother very much. He has not gotten over his grief yet. He does not want to go home during Christmas. I thought if I brought him with me, he might forget his loneliness.
The other friend, Sohail is a Muslim. His father is a software engineer in an American Firm in Delhi. He had to leave for Saudi Arabia on some important business schedule. He is very close to me. He is smart, jolly, good at studies, and speaks English fluently. How are Pratibha and Priti?
