My dear Richa,
Now, that I am away, give your careful attention to Papa and Mummy. They are growing old and need assistance It will be admirable if you help the mother in her kitchen work on holidays if not every day. Be affectionate and sympathetic to little Kajol. If you guide her in her studies, you will be doing the duty of a real good sister. Being elder, I feel obliged to offer you a few pieces of advice as to how to behave in your school. Do not try to be very fashionable and modern. Better be friendly with all but at the same time be judicious in making friends. Politeness is a sign of culture but improper advances must be discouraged, acquiring knowledge and learning good manners should be your aim. Cultivation of domestic arts is highly desirable in modern women. I am sure; you will appreciate my love and feelings for you. With best regards to all the elders, and kind regards to you.
Yours affectionately,
Kishore Bhatia
