Essay on – The Wonders of Science

Today wherever we look we find wonders of science. It has influenced our lives immensely. Electricity, vehicles, aeroplanes, computers, radios and television sets, huge dams, satellites, robots, space stations, trains and innumerable electronic items. All these wonders are manmade marvels.

Men of science go on looking for newer ways and mean to provide mankind with more and more equipment to ease their work and raise their living standards.

Electricity has speeded up many processes and has given birth to many labour-saving devices. We can’t imagine life without it.

Buses, trains and aeroplanes have made travelling faster easier and comfortable. They have reduced time and distance. Space crafts have worked wonders. Man has reached the moon.

Multi-storied buildings and dams’ bridges have solved problems of accommodation and traffic jams. Dams have helped to produce electricity and provide water supply for irrigation.

Computers, telephones and the internet have improved communication, data processing and information technology. Similarly, radio and television sets have brought entertainment and world views to our homes.

In the filled of medical science too it has provided us with improved mankind like the CAT scan, laser beams, X- X-rays. Ultrasound and scores of other improved ways of operations. Man had discovered the latent power hidden in atoms. This energy can be used for the betterment of mankind if used wisely.

In all, we can say that more than the marvels of nature, these are the marvels created by the men of science. Their efforts have produced these marvels.
