Good Morning respected principal, guest and dear friends. The topic of my speech is computer and internet. We are now living in the digital era where almost everything is done using technology. Since their invention, computers increasingly a regaining popularity not only for individuals, but also in many organizations. Since it arrived, the computer has completely changed how people do things and think. The internet has changed our attitudes and our communication with each other. The internet is relatively cheaper and faster. Many use the internet for communicating with others, regardless of their location in the world. They make work easier for many people and make communication easier. People get so used and comfortable that they forget how life used to be without these two blessings. Many know how hard and inconveniencing it was without computers and the internet. People had to wait for their mails to arrive to get feedback but nowadays communicating is as simple as the click of a button. In many business, record keeping meant piling of hundreds of files in a room. This made retrieving of files difficult and time consuming. With the advancement of computers and technology, record keeping has become easier and faster. Accessing your information takes only a few seconds. Almost everything has its advantages and disadvantages, it’s up to us to decide how we want technology to work for us and make our lives better. Your decision on how you want to use the two can either make your life better or make you a slave of the worst of things.
