National Science Day 2016 was celebrated in GSSS Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh in collaboration with CREST. The theme of the event in 2016 was to raise the public appreciation for science for the development of nation. A variety of activities were conducted for creating and infusing scientific temper among the students. Best out of waste, poster-making contest, science quiz and project on “Scientists” were the main activities. A lecture on “Role of Science in Every Day Life” was delivered by a teacher. All the activities were beneficial for popularization of science.
