To,
The Regional Manager,
G.E. Finance Ltd.,
Kolkata.
Dear Mr. Chatterjee,
At the outset let me wish you “A Happy and Prosperous 2003”. I hope you have already received my New Year Card. It was a matter of great shock that while reviewing the performance of the four regions, your region was found wanting in virtually every field. But the most disturbing trend was the financing activity which is virtually next to nothing. You will appreciate the fact that being an experienced person yourself, the figures are nothing worth discussing. As the financial year is now on the verge of ending, I think you should take drastic measures to improve business in the Eastern region. I’m still hopeful that with your experience and vast knowledge in the field, you are capable of turning the tide in your favour.
Hoping to hear from you at the earliest, something positive.
With Warm Regards,
John Murphy
CEO, India
