I was heartsick when Raj told me about the accident to Sheela’s china doll. I know how long it had been in the family and how much sentimental value it had for you.

If I could replace the doll and the memories it had for your I could certainly do so. Unfortunately, that is impossible, so I have asked Ram to send up the prettiest modern doll in the store. I know Sheela will love her, and I hope that in time the doll will replace the old one in her affections.

Please explain to Sheela how sorry we all are.
