My Pet Dog

Dogs have often been called “Man’s best friend”. The dog is a familiar animal. It is very useful. I have a dog as a pet. This seems very true about my dog Roki.

Roki and I go for a walk every morning because he has to ease himself. He socializes a lot with the passersby. At times he barks at people whom he does not particularly like.

Roki barks whenever it sees a stranger or a thief. I feel terrible whenever Roki falls ill. He becomes as helpless as a baby during any sickness.

With Roki around I never feel lonely. Holidays are great because Roki and I spend a lot of time running and playing in the park with a ball or with a bone.

I feed Roki every day and I love to make his meals because he enjoys eating and I love to watch him licking his plate dry within minutes.

Roki is my pet and I can easily say that he is the best friend that I have.

The Dog

The dog is a pet animal. A dog is a faithful friend. It is very useful. A street dog is a common thing.

Dogs are of many kinds. They are of different colours. Usually they are of brown, black, white and red colours. A dog is kept as a pet to protect a house and family.

A dog barks whenever it sees a stranger or a thief. Its loud bark makes the people alert and watchful. It is very faithful and obedient animal.

A dog has four legs, two ears and a long tail. It lives on milk, bread and meat. All dogs have very bright and intelligent eyes. It has a very strong sense of smell. The Police keep and train it to catch thieves.

A mad dog is a dangerous animal. The bite of a mad dog may prove fatal. We should take care that our pet dogs do not become mad. We should also see that they are not bitten by a mad dog.

A dog is also used for hunting. Children love to play with dogs. A young one of a dog is called a puppy. A female dog is called a bitch.
