Mr. Rajinder: (He rings the doorbell) Good morning, madam. I am Rajinder from the sales department of British Enterprises, manufacturers of the popular brands of toothpaste and toothbrushes.
1st Lady: Good morning, please. What do you want?
Mr. Rajinder: To popularise our products, we are selling tooth paste and tooth brushes manufactured by our firm at concessional rates. We are giving 30% concession on its market price if you purchase at least one piece of toothbrush and one tube of toothpaste.
1st Lady: I am sorry I just bought my requirements of toothbrushes and toothpaste from the market, yesterday itself.
Mr. Rajinder: Thank you, madam. I am sorry to have disturbed you.
1st Lady: It’s all right, young man.
(Mr. Rajinder goes to the next house and again rings the bell)
Mr. Rajinder: Good morning, madam. I am Rajinder from sales department of the British Enterprises. To popularise the tooth paste and tooth brushes manufactured by our firm we are selling them at concessional rates. We are giving 30% concession on the market price if you purchase at least one tooth brush and one tube of tooth paste.
2nd Lady: Please show me the samples.
Mr. Rajinder: Do you use soft tooth brushes or hard ones?
2nd Lady: We use soft tooth brushes.
Mr. Rajinder: Here is a soft tooth brush and a tooth paste tube of family size.
2nd Lady: O.K. Give me three tooth brushes and two family size tubes of tooth paste.
Mr. Rajinder: Thank you, madam here is the bill and I have given you 30% concession on the market price.
2nd Lady: Please take the money and give me the balance.
Mr. Rajinder: Here is the balance, madam. Thank you, once again.
2nd Lady: No mention, please
(Mr. Rajinder visits a third house and rings the bell)
A Gentleman: Who are you?
Mr. Rajinder: Good morning, sir.
A Gentleman: Good morning.
Mr. Rajinder: My name is Rajinder. I represent the sales department of British Enterprises, the manufacturers of the popular brands of tooth brushes and tooth paste. To popularise our products we have started a publicity campaign. During this campaign we are selling these goods at concessional rates.
A Gentleman: What concession do you give?
Mr. Rajinder: We give 30% concession on the market price.
A Gentleman: Please show me your tooth brush and the tooth paste.
Mr. Rajinder: Here are the samples.
A Gentleman: O.K. Give me five pieces of tooth brushes and two pieces of medium size tubes of tooth paste.
Mr. Rajinder: Here are five pieces of tooth brushes and two medium size tubes of tooth paste.
A Gentlement: Please give me the bill with 30% concession.
Mr. Rajinder: Here is your bill. I have given you the 30% concession on the market price.
A Gentleman: Please have this fifty rupee note and give me the balance.
Mr. Rajinder: Here is your balance, please. Thank you, for patronising our products.
