Dear Mr. David,

With due regret, we inform you that on Feb. 10 during the night shift around 11.30 p.m., you were alleged by the Production Manager, of in subordinating him in front of all employees, in a drunken state. You are alleged to have behaved in a violent manner and threatened the person concerned in an inebriated state. Such a behaviour has tarnished the image of our production department which is considered to be the most disciplined in our organisatino. Your behaviour has put a wrong precedence and the others can be equally influenced by you. Considering the fact, that you are an old and faithful employee in our organisatino, we have decided to suspend you for a period of 7 days. On your return, you have to tender an apology in written to the concerned person. Any repetition of such high-handed behaviour will result in your termination, in future.
