Letter to Editor regarding the growing menace of terrorism.

Sir,

This is in reference to the headlines of your esteemed newspaper about the growing menace of terrorism which is not only limited to Kashmir, but has spread its tentacles throughout the length and breadth of this country. In the South, we have the LTTE problem which seems no sign of abatement. In the East, we have the ULFA problem juxtaposed with the Mizoram and Naga rebels. It seems that the Indian govt. has been hijacked by this lethal disease which seem to gobble up the nation. The underworld menace has spread its tentacles from Mumbai to Moradabad, signifying the inefficiency of our police system. The spate of abduction in the country is a testimony to the weakening police force and at times, the junta of this country is forced to believe the criminal police nexus. It not only shows the weak links of the police but also denotes that there is something very wrong somewhere. Through the column of your newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the Govt. of India about the growing menace of terrorism and the loss of faith among the people of this country. The Govt. should start taking actions against such people of anti-social elements so that the faith of the people of this nation, is restored.
