I shall be obliged to you if you kindly publish the following lines in your esteemed newspaper column “Letters to the Editor”.
Malaria has broken out at many places in the country. A news item reported 800 cases in Ludhiana and 400 cases in Amritsar during the past two months.
It seems that the health department has miserably failed in its duty. Malaria had been completely noted out from the country. Now it has appeared again
It is well-known fact that Malaria is caused by mosquitoes that breed and spread on standing water and places which are not clean. So stinking and dirty drains should be plugged so that water may not stand there. Water stands in the low lying area of the city. The authority should take urgent steps the prevention the epidemic from the country.
