Ball Games

There are a large number of games which are played with balls. Some of them are played indoors while others are played in large fields. In many games just a ball is used while in others, the players use rackets, bats or clubs to drive the balls. Some of the most famous ball games include Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Cricket, Football, Volleyball etc. Ball games date back to the prehistoric age when people use to play them for religious reasons. Ball games were first played for pleasure by the Ancient Greeks. Today there are a variety of ball games played all over the world and new ones are being developed constantly. Like other games, Ball games too are played individually or in pairs and teams. The team games include Football, Baseball etc while the individual and pair games include tennis, Table Tennis, Squash etc. Ball games like Football, Cricket and Tennis are popular all over the world and people look forward to these games.
