Our National Flag

1. Every country has its own flag. Our National Flag has three colours.
2. From top to bottom, are saffron, white and green colours.
3. These three colours stand for service and science, for truth, peace and purity, and last of all for faith, energy and prosperity.
4. There is the Ashoka Chakra in the middle. It stands for everlasting virtue.
5. Thus, our Tri-colour stands for our country’s pride, glory and independence.
6. Every Indian should love and respect the Indian Flag.
7. We must be ready to sacrifice our lives to protect the honour and glory of our Tri-Colour-The National Flag.
8. It is a symbol of countless martyrs who laid down their lives for freedom from the foreign rulers.
9. We must pledge to keep it fluttering forever, only then we can move with our heads held high.
10. So, on important National Days we unfurl our National Flag with respect, honour and pride.
