10 Lines on “A Christmas Party”

1. “Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way….” I woke up to this music on December 25.

2. I peeped out and there was snow everywhere. What fun! A white Christmas!

3. I had invited my friends to a party in the evening. They all arrived by 5 o’clock.

4. The living room was decorated with colourful lights, streamers, shining bells, flowers, and candles.

5. In the middle of the room stood a beautiful, little Christmas tree.

6. My father, dressed up as Santa Claus, sat in a chair near the tree with lots of presents neatly packed.

7. There was a small crib in the corner. Baby Jesus, made of clay, lay in the crib.

8. The children went up to the crib and sang Christmas carols. Then they went up to Santa Claus, one by one.

9. My father shook hands with each child and handed over a present. They ate the Christmas cake.

10. Finally, it was time for the children to go home. After thanking us, they left, each with a present and a packet of sweets. It was indeed a merry Christmas party.
