Entrance Test: Unethical
Entrance tests are part of undergraduate courses that are being conducted every year by the universities. But in my opinion, is unethical. The students who come and apply for the subjects like English (Hons.) and Journalism (Hons.) already enter only after passing CBSE, All India Boards, the biggest examination. They spend more than 12 years in school and pass every year after hard work. They apply in a particular stream when they get enough scores.
Only an entrance test cannot test the ability of a student he is capable of doing the subject or not. The personal abilities of a student are ignored here. Many times, students feel nervous in such examinations and score badly. But it does not mean that they are incapable.
The universities should never ignore the marks and personal abilities. They should counsel the students along with proper guidelines and eliminate the entrance tests,
