A workshop on the theme ‘Promoting Health and Hygiene’ was organized by ‘Jagriti Manch’ of Delhi here yesterday. Dr. M.M. Bakshi, Prof and Head of Paediatrics AIIMS, Delhi was the guest speaker. A number of participants attended the workshop and presented their papers. In his address. Dr. Bakshi called upon the people to make hygiene a part of living. He emphasized the need for inculcating good dietary habits and health awareness among children. Changing lifestyles are causing health hazards. It is important to know what to eat and when to eat. It was really an enriching experience to attend the workshop. Mr. Malhotra, President of the Manch presented the vote of thanks. He also promised to hold such workshops regularly.
