Dear Mamma,

Pranam !

I am quite well here. I also hope you to be the same. Father would also be enjoying good health.

I may inform you that I shall reach home on next Wednesday though my examinations will be over on Monday, but I want to relax and enjoy myself on Tuesday after a long period of hard studies for examination. If you won’t mind I would like to see a movie just for change and entertainment.

I will also make some purchases for my younger sister and brother. They must be expecting some gifts from me this time.

Mamma I am really fed up with the hostel life. No one is here to show me love and affection like you. We are kept here under strict supervision. Whenever I like to go out of the hostel, I need to obtain permission from the lady warden. We don’t get good food-stuff here. We don’t have freedom here as at our homes.

I devote much time to my studies. So I will bring good result this year.

I am sure, Daddy will come to fetch me from the station at 8 p.m. on that very night.

My respect to Daddy and love to Rekha and Puppy.
