World Earth Day was celebrated on 22nd April 2015 by Tiger Eco Club in Govt. Sr. Sec. School Raipur Khurd U.T. Chandigarh. This day marks the importance of Mother Earth and the need to protect it. Many activities were conducted to highlight the importance of earth day. These included Face Painting Competition, Lecture by a teacher in assembly, Poetry recitation, multimedia presentation and Quiz. Various students participated in these activities. Winners were announced afterwards. The School Principal Mrs. Neena Kalia appreciated the efforts of the student and motivated them to participate in all the school events.
