Unthankful Tiger
Once a tiger was caught in a trap by hunters. It was roaring. It was trying to break the cage but not free itself.
A Brahman passed by that side. He took pity on him. He opened the door of the cage. The tiger jumped at the poor Brahman. The Brahman begged for his life. The tiger said to the Brahman, “if you are a fool to free me I am not a fool spare my prey.”
In the meantime, a jackal came. He offered to decide the dispute. The jackal told the tiger,” you are too big for this cage, you cannot sit in this cage.” The jackal immediately locked it up.
Moral: one should be thankful to one’s benefactor.
