Sir,

This in reference to your letter dated Jan. 16, 2003 regarding the delivery of goods by our exporter, M/s. Kazakusha & Co., Tokyo. We would like to request you to open by cable an irrevocable Letter of Credit favouring M/s. Kazakusha & Co, Tokyo for the amount of Rs. Eighty Eight Lacs available to them by draft by your agent in Tokyo. This credit is in respect of a shipment of 5 Japanese Plastic Designing machines. The draft by the benefactions should accompany the following documents.

(i) Bills of Lading (2)

(ii) Commercial Invoices (3) to evidence the shipment of the machines, specified in the enclosed sheet

(iii) Insurance Cover Policy

(iv) Certificate of Origin

(v) Consular Invoice

Part shipment should be entertained and the LC will cease to be valid after Feb. 20, 2003.

Invoice to be made c.i.f. Mumbai, including the bank commission also.
