People around the world have become well-aware about the environmental problems. Industries are blamed for the environmental issues people face today. Hence there is the demand that environmental awareness should be a part of business education.

First of all, unethical alterations on ecology are the main reason for many of the environmental problems we face today. Many industries turn a blind eye towards the hazardous waste materials they produce and take no active steps to dispose of them properly. Many a times, the products companies develop may not be eco-friendly. However, companies are reluctant to make any step towards recycling or reuse of their products. Often, businesses hide the environmental impact of their products to promote business.

If properly educated, the new entrepreneurs may stop exploiting nature and natural resources and will turn to environment-friendly practices. Hence, it becomes necessary to promote environmental awareness among those who are going to run industries and businesses in future. They should be made aware about the implications of unscrupulous activities in the name of industrialization.

To sum up, it can be said that learning and promoting business forgetting nature and its resources is like digging one’s own grave.
