Love Letter Example “Letter to a Paragon of Beauty Falls in Love with a very Ugly Man”

My lovely Ashok,

Everybody thirsts for beauty ! but what is beauty? It is not a mere play of colours!  Is it not merely an invisible cover for the ugliest things in the world? What do you really find below the human skin which you all so soft, so smooth, so bright, and tempting? How long does beauty last? Not more than a day in flowers or more than a few years in a man or woman. And then, who can tell, what is really beautiful ? I love a flower which you hate. I admire a bird which you dates I go into raptures over a  particular woman whom you declare to be positively ugly. So also you declare another woman to be a Paragon of beauty but I declare her to be no better than an owl! Then again, many of the handsomest  persons have been completely changed into ugliest persons all of a sudden either by unhappy accident.

Therefore, Ashok, I have no weakness for beauty. To me ugliness is beauty and deformity is loveliness. Of course, I do not mean to say that I can love a man who is four feet high or who has one of his arms or legs missing or whose limbs are not proportionate or who is a mere skeleton or who is nothing but a mountain of flesh or who is weak and feeble and seems to die with the grasp of every breath. I love you,  because you are tall and sinewy, because you have a browny arms ; because you have eyes, nose , lips and because you have a at a bosom which can hold in it all the desires of a woman. I love you because you are dark life a negro, because you are shapeless like a monster, because you   are wild and ravenous like a beast. I love you because you have a mouth with the thickest lips that can swallow my tiny lips and mouth. I love you because your arms are like the arms of a bear that can enclose my whole body into your bosom and dissolve it forever there, I love you because I find in your eyes the glare of a wild beast which can consume all my limbs in a moment. I love you because I find in eyes consume all my limbs in a moment. I love you because I find in eyes pore of your body that vital energy which can strangle me out of my breath only to make me dream of the ecstasy no woman on earth has so far felt. I love you because I find in your dark complexion the shadows of death that brighten again into the eternal sunshine of life.

Your most enamored,

Meenakshi
