Subject : Late Collection of our Outstation Cheque.

Sir,

It is with a feeling of great resentment and frustration that I am writing this letter to you. It is owing to the late collection of an outstation cheque, drawn on the Bank of Rajasthan, Ajmer Branch and deposited in your bank on Novemeber 24, 2006. This has caused me a great loss in business. Quite unbelievably and surprisingly, the payment was received in our account on January 27, 2007, after the deduction of full commission.

Can your bank compensate for the loss I have incurred because of the long delay in having the money credited to my a/c.as it was an advance for an order meant to be executed by January 20, 2007 only ? Such delays occur on account of the negligence of your staff, resulting in irreparable losses to your customers !

Please instruct your staff accordingly to prevent occurrences of the lapses of this nature in future.
